MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- A Milwaukee teenager is charged with first degree reckless homicide.


DeAngelo Williams, 16, faced preliminary hearing.

It happened just 10-days after the massive shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin. Another one of its members was killed by gunfire, and police say DeAngelo Williams is to blame.

The teen is charged as an adult for the fatal shooting at a north side food store but his lawyers is trying to get him tried as a juvenile. A decison is expected in February.

The store owner, Dalbir Singh, was killed in the robbery attempt.

The criminal complaint indicates Singh and his nephew tried slamming the door of the store to prevent Williams from getting in, but the suspect fired his gun through the door and shot Singh in the forehead.
