MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Wave has announced that Sue Black is now Owner, President, and CEO of the team and the Wave of Hope charity.  The release says the team was sold to Black by Jim Lindenberg in a confidential agreement.

Lindenberg says, "It was very easy to complete the transaction with President/CEO Sue Black and the United Soccer League. I can't think of anyone better to continue to lead this very proud and successful franchise..."

The Milwaukee Wave is the longest running soccer franchise in North America and has a great winning tradition. Head Coach Keith Tozer, who has been with the team for 21 years, says, "I want to thank Jim. He proved that dedication, hard work, and commitment can produce success both on the field and off."

Black says, "It has always been about my hometown, and will continue to be. Go Wave!"
