Suburban Home Invasion Spree
NEW BERLIN---Police are investigating several home burglaries where the suspects don't hesitate, even if somebody's home.
Captain Mike Glider says suburban law enforcement agencies in Waukesha and Milwaukee counties are looking at similar burglaries and believe they're being committed by the same group of people. "Our lights were on, the tv was on," one victim tells CBS 58 News. "I thought it was pretty bold that they just came in." It happened in late November, one of three burglaries in the neighborhood. Her husband had fallen asleep. "As he sat up he saw a flash go out our kitchen door and into our garage and he was half asleep. He thought am I dreaming? He got up and noticed that someone had been in my purse." |
