Story Behind the SkeletonFriend speaks out after West Allis man is found decomposing in his own home
WEST ALLIS-Friends are grief stricken that David Carter committed suicide years ago and was dead and decomposing in his own home for years until a building inspector noticed something last week.
"I knew he was alone and I wanted to talk to him," Theresa Bornheimer tells CBS 58," but I never did because he was never home." Police believed that Cartern died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Friends speculate he may have been distraught over a break up with the mother of his child. They say he had told some friends that he was moving and that's why nobody thought anything might be wrong with him when the house appeared vacant. Carter was a chef by trade. His friends said he loved and took care of his young daughter and was always a giving and funny guy. |
