Store clerk shot during robbery attempt

MILWAUKEE -- A store clerk working at a north side grocery store is recovering from a gun shot wound.

Milwaukee Police tell CBS 58 the 43-year-old man was shot around 8:20 Tuesday night at the "Sparkle Food Store" on 3rd and Ring.

Police say the shooting happened during an apparent armed robbery, but have not said if anyone has been arrested.
