Southside Milwaukee Violent Robbery Caught on Camera

The Milwaukee Police Department released surveillance video of a violent robbery near Washington Street and South Cesar Chavez Dr. It started when one man threw a punch at another man walking on the sidewalk around 1:00 a.m. The attacker's partner joined in on the beating before they went through the man's pockets.

People in the area say the neighborhood is unsafe. "I'm not walking here for fun. It's for going shopping or going for groceries or something because you're not even safe anymore," says Mary Rodriguez who was running errands with her grandchildren.
