Soldier Comes Home Before Deployment

One Week in Wisconsin will be last trip home before Afghanistan

MILWAUKEE-It's a scene that never gets old. A soldier welcomed home and embraced by family at the airport.

But Sunday's homecoming is bittersweet for the family of Seth Gransbury.

They are delighted that he gets the entire Christmas week with them.

But soon afterwards, comes deployment to Afghanistan.

"He's probably gonna get sick of me hugging him," Seth's mother, Sonja Strehlow told CBS 58, "but we're gonna do whatever he wants. I have made everything he wants, all the food he wants."

"It's been awhile ya' know," Seth explained, "seeing my mom and my sister. Also my father and other little brothers live here too. This will be a challenge, but I'm prepared to do what I can for this country."
