Milwaukee -- The beer started flowing early for many people in Milwaukee.  It continues to through Saturday night with multiple bar crawls.

Milwaukee Police stepped up enforcement through the day and night - hoping to prevent any problems.  MPD isn't out to write tickets, more to help advise people on what not to do.

"It's your right to get as drunk and stupid as you want," MPD Captain Stephen Basting said. "Just as long as you're not bothering anybody. But make sure you have that wing-man or wing-woman to make sure you know where you're going and you're safe."

MPD will have patrols out through the night.  Cabs are out in full-force as well to make sure everyone gets home safely.
