Small Plane Crash Kills Two

BURLINGTON---A plane crash left two people dead Sunday.

A witness says it happened around 1:45 p.m. Sunday in Burlington.

The FAA says the plane was attempting to land when it crashed. CBS 58 spoke with a witness who speculated that the aircraft may have had fuel or engine problems before it went into a nose dive.

The plane is a registered to Todd Parfitt of Antioch, IL.

The FAA says they were told by local law enforcement that two people in the plane died. Police are not releasing any information at this time.
