Sloppy, slushy roads make travel difficultSHEBOYGAN CO. --- The road conditions were troublesome in several areas throughout southeastern Wisconsin Sunday. After the snow stopped falling it changed to mist and freezing rain, making roads slippery. Road crews were hitting the main roads with plows and salt trucks to try and ease conditions for drivers. The interstate stayed mainly clear and cars were able to travel at normal freeways speeds in most areas. However, it was the side streets and back roads were seeing some slick spots that caused trouble for drivers. CBS 58's Keith Meka didn't report seeing any accidents in Sheboygan County, though the roads were rather slick. In Milwaukee County since 2:00 p.m. there were 12 accidents on the freeway, two of them involving injuries.
