Slick roads cause several accidents in Waukesha County

WAUKESHA COUNTY -- The morning commute was a mess along highway 16 in Waukesha County. Motorist Tim Nichols tells us he counted at least 18 cars either in a ditch or involved in an accident.

"The truck in front of me slammed on his brakes and when that happened I started downshifting and I ended up slamming into a car that was already in the ditch," says Nichols."I was like the seventh or eighth car that went in. Next thing you know people are running across the median and a guy is flipped upside down."

Waukesha County sheriff deputies on the scene say those accidents caused only minor injuries.
