Skateboarder hit by car

GREENFIELD—A skateboarder is injured after being hit by a car near a busy freeway off-ramp.

Greenfield Police said that they were called out to 27th Street near the 894/43 off ramp at 11:37 a.m. Monday.

A 28-year-old female driver was making a right turn onto 27th Street from the off-ramp when she hit the skateboarder.

That 19-year-old male suffered a broken leg, but is expected to be ok.

He was taken to Froedtert Hospital for treatment.
