Six-month anniversary since Sikh Temple Shooting

OAK CREEK- Six-months ago, a gunman opened fire at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin killings even people, including himself.
Tuesday marked the half year anniversary of the tragic mass murder.
 

For those directly affected by the shooting, the memories are still close to their hearts and minds.
 

"It feels like yesterday that it happened," Pardeep Kaleka said.
 

Kaleka's father was killed trying to stop the gunman, Wade Michael Page, when he went on his rampage this past August.
 

Oak Creek Mayor Steven Scaffidi met yesterday with all of the agencies originally involved in the shooting, along with Sikh elders.
 

He said they focused on making sure the community's needs are being met.
 

The mayor also said plans for the one year anniversary are already in the works.
