SAUKEVILLE-- A sink hole on Highway 33 closes a lane of traffic.

Ozaukee Highway Department puts a steel plate over a sink hole on Highway 33 to allow traffic to keep moving through, but it's a temporary fix until spring.

The highway department says the concrete under the highway had probably been rotting for years, and the blacktop gave way Tuesday night.

The hole's about 6 feet around, and 8 feet underneath. Crews were there since around 5:00AM. They closed off the area around the hole and got rid of the pieces of crumbled pavement. They then placed a solid steel plate over the hole to keep traffic moving.

But that plate is just a temporary fix until the spring when they'll need to rip up everything and put down new concrete.

If you think that's a sink hole.Wait til you find out how much tax money Walker paid for three miles of rusty railroad track in exchange for a campaign contribution! Whoever is unlucky enough to get the job once he's tossed out will see a mountain of debt. Not anything he promised will ever come true! He is a disaster already and you all will know it maybe as soon as tommorrow!

SPL Saukville. In the village or outside the village, did anyone ask where this is?
