Shots fired at off-duty Milwaukee County sheriff's deputy

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department are investigating a late night shooting from May 18th when an off-duty Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputy was shot at.

The off-duty deputy was backing out of his drive way on the 3200 block of N. Bobolink Ave. when one man walking nearby pulled out a revolver and fired at the deputy. The bullet missed the deputy, and hit his rear-view mirror.

The man who fired on the deputy fled on foot. Milwaukee police are continuing their investigation on this incident.
