Shooting suspects lead Milwaukee police on foot chase

MILWAUKE -- The Milwaukee Police Department takes two shooting suspects into custody following a foot chase.

Officers were called out to the 2600 block of N. 45th St around 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

A 31-year-old man was in his residence when heard gunshots.

He left his home to look around and that’s when he was shot in the chest.

A police squad in the area heard the shots and broadcasts to other squads.

Another squad saw suspects fleeing the area.

After a brief foot chase two suspects were taken into the custody.

The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment, but is expected to survive his injuries.
