One injured in Cudahy shooting

Flight for Life took victim to the hospital

CUDAHY -- Just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday Emergency Dispatch received two 911 cell phones calls about a shooting.

The caller said it happened inside a mobile home in the 5900 block of Packard Avenue.

Flight for Life took the victim, a man believed to be in his 20's, to the hospital.

His condition has not been made public.

Police say they immediately took a man into custody.

In a news release the department emphasized that "there is no threat to the citizens of Cudahy."

Investigators are not disclosing a possible motive.
