SHEBOYGAN- The city of Sheboygan received fourteen inches of snow overnight into Wednesday morning.

Many streets in residential areas were still covered with fresh white snow later in the afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office said they responded to more than 100 crashes. They also had an issue with abandoned vehicles. The highways running through the area were mostly clean, but the on and off ramps still had spots of snow.

The city requires that residents remove snow from sidewalks within 48 hours after a storm or they could end up paying the city for the cost to clear it.

Residents wishing to report a violation are encouraged to call DPW at (920) 459-3440 or submit a report to the city here:
