OZAUKEE COUNTY-- Daycares and Cedarburg Public School campuses forced into lockdown after a domestic dispute turned violent near Lakefield Drive and Green Bay in Ozaukee County.

Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office says deputies 16-year old Joseph Torres fired at a man during a domestic dispute.  Lt. Christy Knowles says she believes Torres was trying to defend his sister.

"The ex-boyfriend came over to the house on Lakefield road, and then broke down the door," said Lt. Knowles.

Lt. Knowles says the boyfriend and Torres' sister fought over custody of their children.  Lt. Knowles says the boyfriend suffered minor injuries during the dispute and did not need to go to the hospital.  She says Torres fled the scene after firing the gun.

"He fled on foot with the handgun we believe," said Lt. Knowles.

Torres who was born on 9/6/1997 should be considered armed and dangerous.
