Ryan visits local guard members and first respondersRepublican VP candidate thanks men and women for their service on 9/11 anniversary
Oak Creek--Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan visited with guard members in Milwaukee and first responders in Oak Creek Tuesday to thank them for their service on the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Ryan told about two dozen first responders at the Oak Creek number 3 firehouse "This is a day where we as Americans think and remember people who lost their lives. We are thankful for those of you who put their lives on the line for us every day. So we are here simply to bring notoriety and a gift of thanks for what you do for us on a daily basis." The Janesville republican congressman also shook hands with members of the Wisconsin National Guard's 128th Air Refueling Wing. |
