WEST ALLIS -- Emergency crews responded to a partial roof collapse at the West Allis Farmers' Market near 65th and National Ave. West Allis police, firefighters, and public works employees were all on the scene.

Investigators say the collapse was caused by a vendor who crashed their van into a pillar. The woman driving the van was setting up, and hit the gas instead of the brake.

There was nobody under the part of the roof that collapsed, and the woman driving the van is okay.
