Romney-Ryan ticket building local buzz
WAUKESHA- The Republican victory center in Waukesha had a steady flow of people Monday.
They were looking to get anything they could to support the newly formed Romney-Ryan team. Signs were the highest in demand, but "Romney-Ryan" signs would not be available for another three weeks. Individual signs were the only ones on hand Monday. Buttons and T-shirts are expected Wednesday. The excitement comes just one day after Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan were introduced as the GOP team running for the White House in Waukesha Sunday evening. "People are excited by an energetic ticket," Wisconsin State Co-Chair and former State Senator Ted Kanavas said. Kanavas added that fundraising has been increasing since the announcement of Ryan as the GOP Vice Presidential candidate on Saturday morning. |
