WEST ALLIS -- Commuters who drive on Greenfield Avenue in West Allis on a daily basis will need to start planning another route.

Starting mid week, the bridge over 894 will close.

Greenfield Avenue between 106th and 96th Streets will be closed as well.

The Department of Transportation sugguests using 84th, Lincoln and Highway 100 as alternate routes.

The bridge should be done by August and it is part of a $15 million project to reconstruct the Zoo Interchange.
