Residents Want Stoplight After Horrific CrashCaught on tape
MILWAUKEE-Residents near 34th and Grant remember the weekend crash all too well.
The high speed, three vehicle collision was so loud it drew out several residents to the street who helped free victims from the wreckage, including a child. They still marvel that nobody suffered critical injuries and that all are expected to recover. Surveillance video also captured the scene. The resident whose camera recorded the event released it to the media in hopes it will build momentum to get a stoplight installed at the intersection. Neighbors report frequent speeding and people disregarding the stop sign. They feel the stoplight might be their best chance to finally get drivers to look out. Otherwise they fear the next crash may require the medical examiner. |
