MILWAUKEE -- Democratic State Representative Sandy Pasch has announced she will not seek re-election in 2014. Pasch has been representing the whitefish a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly since 2008.

Rep. Pasch says, "This decision did not come lightly, as having the honor and privilege to serve the greater Milwaukee area since 2009 has been one of the most humbling and meaningful experiences of my life."

Pasch was part of a heated election against State Senator Alberta Darling during the 2010 recall sweep.

Pasch represents parts of Milwaukee's north side, Glendale and Shorewood.
