Milwaukee County - Kim Pinnow-Johnson and Kimberly Tokar have been slammed with 34 charges related to forgery and theft. The two women worked as managers at the Heritage Village apartment complex in Greenfield. According to the criminal complaint, the two women embezzled at least $114,000 of cash rental payments between September of 2011 and August of 2012.

Investigators say the two women told new tenants to pay rent for the first month in cash, then forged their signatures on a document detailing rent as free for the first month. According to the complaint, the women pocketed the cash for themselves. The scheme started to fall apart, after the property owners noticed discrepancies in the accounts.
