KENOSHA -- Kenosha police found the remains of several exotic animals at a home in the 1400 block of 53rd St. after receiving complaints of animal cruelty at the property.

After searching the home's backyard police say they found a three to four foot long skeleton of an alligator in a large aquarium, the body of a large burned snake, a dead four to five foot crocodile, and other containers filled with dead snakes.

While searching the basement police found two six to eight foot alligators in a homemade pond, and a large snapping turtle in a tub.

The Racine Zoo is assisting the police department with the removal of all live animals at this house.
