MILWAUKEE---Red Arrow Park's Slice of Ice skating rink announced they will be open for business Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

The rink was supposed to open last Friday but due to high temperatures, the date had to be pushed back.

Ice skates may be rented for $7 for people ages 17 and under and $8 for adults. Anyone who owns their own skates can use the rink for free.

“We are so excited to have the Slice of Ice Open...it is a great holiday tradition! I highly encourage folks to come on down and skate, enjoy a coffee and hot chocolate, and enjoy the Holiday lights!” Chief of Operations, Guy Smith said in a statement.

The rink will be open the remainder of the winter season.
