North Shore Bank robbed, police looking for suspect

RACINE-- Police responded to a bank robbery at North Shore Bank, 3911 N. Main St. on Thursday December 26, 2013 at around 11:10 a.m.

When they arrived, they learned that the suspect entered the bank while no customers were inside. The suspect approached a teller and demanded money. After receiving the money, the suspect fled out the south door and was last seen running southbound on N. Main St.

No one was injured during the robbery, and no weapon was displayed.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, approximately 6’00” to 6’02” with a thin to medium build. The suspect has freckles and a scruffy goatee. He was wearing a black hoodie, black track pants with a white stripe, a black knit hat and sunglasses.
