Racine Co. Sheriff's investigate sex assault of mentally disabled man
RACINE COUNTY -- The Racine County Sheriff's Department are investigating a possible sex assault of a developmentally disabled citizens at Case Eagle Park in the Village of Rochester.
Deputies were told the sex assault may have happened in the restrooms on the east side of the park near the baseball diamonds. Investigators say the group of developmentally disabled adults stopped in these bathrooms during their visit to the park.
A group chaperone told deputies one of the males in the group was in the restroom for an extended period of time. She entered the men's bathroom, and observed a white male leaving a stall with his pants unzipped. After the man left the bathroom, the disabled man stepped out of the same stall.
The suspect is described as an older white male wearing a yellow polo style shirt and khaki pants. If you have any information regarding this case, please call the Racine County Sheriff's Department at 262-636-3991.
