MILWAUKEE -- It's a 4th of July tradition in Milwaukee. People camp out at the lakefront for the big U.S. Bank fireworks display on the eve of Independence day. Many people arrive very early in the morning on July 2nd. They rope off a piece of land, pitch their tents and fire up their grills to get ready for the fireworks.

This year there was talk about a grilling ban at Veteran's Park, but that turned out not to be the case.

Officials say because of the dry conditions they will strictly enforce the ban on sparklers and other personal fireworks down there.
