NEW BERLIN --- A man crashed his truck into a home in New Berlin early Tuesday morning then drove off.

No one was hurt.

The residents were in their house in the 4900 block of Daisy Ct. when a black pick-up truck came barreling through their patio into their living room.

"I was sitting here on the sofa watching the TV," Miles Thompson tells CBS 58 News, "and the truck comes crashing through and glass and plants went flying up against the wall and stuff."

Thompson described the driver of the truck to be a younger man. That man then put the truck in reverse and fled the scene leaving a gaping hole in the side of the home.

"I got up and I hollered to him," Thompson explained, "hey what are you doing? And he didn't respond. He slammed his truck into reverse and backed out of the place he came through."

Police say they are still searching for the suspect.

The truck is described as a dark colored GMC Sierra model between 2003-2007.
