Man wanted for attempted sexual assault

SOUTH MILWAUKEE --- Police are investigating an attempted sexual assault.

A teenaged girl said that as she walked with two friends, a man stopped them, tried to take some of her clothing off, and ran away, according to a release.

Police said it happened just before midnight Friday night near 15th at Chestnut. This is just a couple of blocks away from South Milwaukee public school buildings, and right near the property. There is also a bus stop at the intersection.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 20 years old, 5'8'' tall, with a thin build, and very short brown hair.
