Police respond to fatal stabbing, multiple shootings Saturday

 MILWAUKEE --- It was a busy night for the Milwaukee Police Department. There were two separate shootings and a fatal stabbing.

The stabbing incident happened on the 700 block of Madison Ave. around 5:45 p.m. A 58-year-old man suffered several stab wounds. Police say a 19-year-old man is in custody for the crime.

A shooting left a man in critical condition. It happened on the 7600 block of Wabash Ct. around 4:00 p.m. The 35-year-old Beloit man was shot in the head. He has been transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition. Police are still investigating and searching for a motive.

A short time later, a second shooting occurred in the 4400 block of 41st St. around 5:30 p.m. A 35-year-old man was shot several times in the stomach. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
