Police looking for gun toting vandals

by Tiffany Tarpley

Cudahy--Police are asking for the public's help to find vandals who went on a crime spree in the central area of Cudahy over the weekend.

They believe someone driving around with a BB gun shattered more than 30 vehicle windows, two store front windows and three bus shelters sometime Saturday night into Sunday morning.

"We're looking into any and all leads, " said Cudahy Police Sergeant, Randy Scheel.  "We don't know if this was just a random act, someone driving around from a vehicle and shooting at cars."  Scheel said there have been vandalism reports in the city in the past but never anything like this.  He said a few vehicles in St. Francis were also hit.

If you know anything about these vandals call Crime Stoppers at 1-866-373-6227.
