Police investigate shooting on Milwaukee's northwest side

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee Police officers are investigating a shooting on the northwest side of the city.

CBS 58 is told a 50-year-old woman was shot in the side around 9:00 p.m., Tuesday night.

Police say it happened near the intersection of 85th and Allen.

Police have not released a motive for the shooting, but they do tell CBS 58 the investigation is ongoing.

The woman is being treated at a local hospital.
