Police investigate shooting and stabbing incidents

MILWAUKEE-- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating after one person is shot and another is stabbed in two separate incidents Friday.

Police said that a 20-year-old male was stabbed around 4:10 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of W. Mitchell Street.

The victim was said to have suffered multiple stab wounds.

He was conscious and breathing and being treated at a local hospital.

Police said that the victim was being less than cooperative with the details of the incident.

A 48-year-old male was shot in the 4200 block of West Clark Street around 8:05 p.m.

Police said that the man was being treated for a non-life threatening injury at a local hospital.

The suspects fled from the scene in a maroon Chrysler 300.
