Police ask public's help identifying ATM robbery suspect

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Police Department is asking the public to help identify a suspect who tried to break into an ATM

It happened around 12:30 a.m. on January 11 at the US Bank on W. Oklahoma Ave. on the city's southwest side.

The suspect tried to pry open the front of the ATM with tools that caused significant damage to the ATM.

The suspect wasn't able to get into the ATM to steal any money.

Police are asking anyone who might recognize the would-be thief to call the Milwaukee Police Department at 414-935-7261.
