MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police have arrested a teenager accused of stealing a cell phone from a passenger on a Milwaukee County bus on March 27th.

Police say the 23-year-old female victim was sitting on a bus stopped on the 7400 block of W. Hampton Ave. at approximately 2:40 p.m.

The 16-year-old male suspect allegedly grabbed the woman's cell phone and ran off the bus. The teen made it one block before being arrested by Milwaukee police officers.

The Milwaukee Police Department is referring criminal charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
