RACINE -- Police have arrested a suspect, Juwan Matthews, in relation to a 2005 triple homicide. Police believe Matthews shot and killed three people while injuring four others in July of 2005.

The shooting Matthews is accused of took place on July 17, 2005 at 1:56 a.m. on the 1300 block of Washington Ave. Police say Aaron Woods, Ryan Lockridge and Frank Mister were all killed in that early morning shooting.

Matthews is charged with two counts of First Degree Intentional Homicide, and four counts of Attempted 1st Degree Intentional Homicide. He is expected to make his initial appearance at Racine County courthouse today.

Racine police say Matthews is currently incarcerated in federal prison due to drug charges, and recently was transferred to Racine from California so he could make his court appearance.

In their release police note that their investigation is still ongoing and active. Racine police are asking anyone with additional information on the 2005 murder to call them at 262-635-7756.
