Plymouth standoff suspect scheduled for sentencing

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- A Plymouth man who held police at bay for two hours over an eviction notice should be sentenced today.

Back in February, police tried to tell David West, 51, he needed to leave the Plymouth Hotel because he didn't pay his rent.

At that point, police say, West picked up a gun, locked himself inside and threatened to kill himself.

Officers eventually were able to get him to surrender.

West is due in Sheboygan County Court Tuesday afternoon.
