Pedestrian struck, injured on Christmas Day
BURLINGTON---On Christmas morning Racine County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call for a vehicle that hit a pedestrian on Ketterhagen Rd. and Crossway Rd. in the Town of Burlington.
Upon arrival, Deputies found a 35-year-old man in the roadway in front of a vehicle. Police say the victim had visible injuries to his head, but was alert and talking at the time. The victim was taken to Memorial Hospital of Burlington and then transported to Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life. The extent of the man's injuries are unknown at this time. The 60-year-old driver of the striking vehicle has been taken into custody. Police say the investigation is ongoing. |
