MILWAUKEE-- A pedestrian and a Milwaukee Police squad car were both hit on Water Street early Sunday morning.

The pedestrian, a 25-year-old man, was hit by a car near Water and Juneau around 2:45 a.m. Sunday. The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old woman remained on scene and no citations have been issued.

The pedestrian remains hospitalized with serious injuries.

Caroline Hamilton was heading home when she saw police everywhere.

While performing traffic control for that incident a Milwaukee Police Officer was hit in his squad car.

A 33-year-old police officer was in his squad when a 22-year-old West Allis man ran his truck into the squad. That man was arrested for drunk driving and was not injured in the crash.

The officer was treated for minor injuries and released.

Both incidents remain under investigation.
