WEST ALLIS---The Romney campaign pulled off a major political play Friday with the endorsement of legendary Packers Quarterback Bart Starr.

Starr held up the book "What It Takes to Be Number One" by Vince Lombardi and said Romney has the qualities that coach Lombardi admired.

Romney warned that re-electing the president would threaten another government shutdown, saying Barack Obama cannot work with Congress.

"I will work with and for both parties," Romney promised.

Governor Walker was a little more "folksy" in his approach. It is his 45th birthday and he doesn't need presents if Romney is secured victory.

"I'm the 45th Governor of the great state of Wisconsin and with your help MItt Romney will be the 45th President of the United States," Walker said.
