Tactical situation turns out to be hoax

SOUTH  MILWAUKEE -- A woman who said she was being held against her will overnight has since admitted she made the whole situation up.

Police tell CBS 58 they received a call around 9:20 Thursday night about a woman being held against her will.

Police arrived to the home in the 2400 block of 3rd Street. Sqauds blocked roadways in the neighborhood while they investigated.

Police tell CBS 58's Sandra Torres they did locate the woman in Milwaukee. She was not injured.

Police later released an update saying the woman was never held against her will and was not harmed by anyone.

Police say two people have been taken into custody, but it's unclear how it's related to this incident.
