Police investigate death in West Allis

WEST ALLIS—The West Allis Police Department is investigating after the death of a man in a residence near 60th & Mitchell.

 Police were called out to the residence around 3:05 a.m. Tuesday.

 They discovered the 49-year-old man who died of a gunshot wound.

 The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner will determine the exact cause and manner of death.

 Police said that there is no evidence that there is any danger to the community.
