MILWAUKEE COUNTY -- Monday morning proved to pack some wild weather in the Milwaukee area. The temperature dropped about 30 degrees overnight and light rain sprinkled on and off for a few hours.

The temperature hit right around the freezing point so it caused some slick conditions for drivers.

Roads were wet when a female driver hit a construction barrel and crashed into a wall on EB I-94 overnight.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department tells CBS 58 the woman had head and wrist injuries, but she is expected to recover.

CBS 58 also learned of another accident on SB I-94 near the Ryan Road exit. The cab of a semi went off the freeway and the Sheriff's Department tells us slick roads played a role in this accident.
