Officer seriously injured in crash
Milwaukee—A Milwaukee Police Officer has been seriously injured in a crash.
The crash happened on Richards St. near Capitol Dr. around 11 a.m. Monday. The officer’s squad collided with a minivan. The officer and the two people in the minivan were taken to a local hospital for treatment. The officer received serious injuries, but they are believed to be non-life threatening. The passengers of the mini-van are expected to be ok. The officer was riding alone in a marked squad car. He is 40-years-old and a 19 year veteran on the police force who is assigned to District 5. |
