Oak Creek Fire Victims Related to Owner of Milwaukee Store That Burned

OAK CREEK-A garage fire this afternoon occurred at the home of family of the man who owns the building that caught fire in Milwaukee just hours earlier Wednesday.

"I was at my uncle's store, and then I got a phone call saying the house was on fire," Al-Abbas Sarsour tells CBS 58.

He lives there with his parents and six siblings.

The garage caught fire about noon.

Sarsour tells us the man who ran the store at 13th and Vliet is his uncle.

Officials are not saying if they think the blazes are connected, but at around 7 p.m. CBS 58 crews did see a Milwaukee fire investigator at the scene of the Oak Creek fire.
