Milwaukee police investigate three weekend shootings

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating three shootings that occurred on June 9th.

The first took place at about 5 P.M. near 34th and Wright. A 29-year-old Milwaukee man tells police that he was driven to the hospital by unknown persons after being shot.

The victim's injury's are not life threatening. There are no suspects in custody at this time.

The second shooting took place at about 6:10 P.M. in the 5700 block of N. 67th Street. A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was shot in the rear of a residence and was taking to a local hospital.

The victims injury's are not life threatening. Police have four suspects in custody and believe the shooting was a result of prior altercation with the suspects.

The third shooting occurred at about 6:50 P.M. in the 2200 block of N. 16th Street. A 35-year-old man was shot near a residence.

Evidence markers were placed near clothing and a hat laying on 16th street. It's believed those items belong to the victim.

The man was apparently shot multiple times and is in stable condition at the hospital. Police have not released a motive for the shooting. There are no suspects in custody.
